The pack program's purpose is to support already social, balanced dogs who have appropriate leash skills. The pack program plays a supporting role to the relationship you have with your dog. The pack day provides healthy outlets and increases the fulfillment of your companion.

This program emphasizes structured socialization. Each day is focused on allowing pack members to form deep trust, connection and routine with us, each other, and a variety of environments. A typical day starts with pick ups at 9 and ends with drop offs between 1 & 2 (during the summer heat the program runs an hour earlier).

The dogs ride calmly in the car together to our fenced acre of property in Sebastopol for off leash socialization. This is where the pack has the opportunity to roam freely, use the bathroom, engage in play and sunbathe. As the dogs navigate this space together, we are present to learn about the group’s personalities, be an advocate, and facilitate appropriate, prosocial, balanced play. We end this time on a relaxed, regulated note and then transition into a group leashed walk or hike.

This structured walk includes polite walking skills, connection to the human, environmental immersion, and physical satisfaction. Through every step of the day we encourage presence. We honor individual personalities and each dog is brought into the pack at the pace that is best for them and the group. When the pack day is over, the dogs fall asleep in the back of the car, content.

Pack members are required to attend a minimum of 2 days/week to ensure consistency within the program. Pack Adventures are $60/day and offered Tuesday through Thursday.

Boarding is provided in our homes and each dog is treated as a member of the family. They are included in the pack adventures and in daily activities like beach trips and coffee shop visits on non-pack days. We recommend booking as soon as you know the dates you’ll be needing overnight care, as our boarding capacity is kept intentionally intimate. Boarding is $100/night.
