About
Connection, Fulfillment & Joy are the pillars and the pinnacles of our work.
We believe that the ultimate “training” method lies within the life we lead with our dogs.
The most valuable information we gather and relay comes from dogs themselves. In our experience, using the language they innately understand is the most effective and fair way to communicate. Our energy, our embodiment, who we are to our dogs comes first. When we build on this, our primary forms of communication are sound (voice), pressure (space, movement and eye contact), intentional affection, praise and the leash.
We believe every being is an individual. We observe first to learn what each specific dog needs, and ultimately support, to build a solid foundation of understanding and communication within the relationship we (and you) have. We desire and achieve a more connected, fulfilled, and joyous life together.

This 3-day workshop covering 9 hours of guided instruction intends to strengthen student's bonds and communication skills with their dogs. Participants learn the Jentle Method ™️, Oregon Tails’ proprietary method, to help dogs work through insecurities, build trust, and unlock freedom—all with the help from their guide.
The Jentle Method™ is based on years of observations and learning how dogs communicate and move through the world. Jonathan and Cole of Oregon Tails have devoted their lives to gathering a deep understanding of how dogs build bonds, trust, acceptance, and interact with other Beings and environments. In this workshop, their goal is to help dogs and humans alike achieve balance through developing a foundation of neutral energy.

The CHRI Puppy Development course teaches students about the brain, skeletal and body developments and capabilities of canines over a period of 2 years. The brain, how and when it develops, physically, from gestation through a 2 year period of time, on a week to week basis, is covered in depth. The development of the body and its capabilities is also covered during that time period, and when both brain and body align, as well as when and how they do not align. Dog sizes, neutering, sexual vs. mental maturity, and fear Imprinting are covered.
In addition, this course covers historical facets, age and behavior appropriate characteristics, including suitable exercise needs and activities requirements. Additionally the class reviews development teaching of their social and cognitive abilities and fulfillments. Lastly, we will discuss nutritional needs for appropriate development and potential deficiencies that can occur.
